The Ildarie is the collective body of Feias sprawling eldritch culture. The shapeshifting Drannian command the worlds most powerful empire. And caught in the middle are the people of Feia, striving valiantly to mind their own business.
An unexpected and chaotic brush with the Ildarie tips Andels world on its ear. When his vast inexperience lands him in even more ildarie trouble, his only way out is an urgent job moving an odd antique whistle for the Drannian. Hes quick to agree -- if he even had a say in the matter.
But with the eldritch instrument comes Platen -- a strange ildarie wight who takes it upon himself to decide that Andel is his new partner, whether Andel likes it or not. And if things hadnt gone downhill fast enough yet, Andel soon finds himself caught in the sights of a ruthless woman with one painfully clear objective: relieve him of the antique, and with force preferable.______________________________________
Sorry about the size of the file; I couldn't compress it any further without some of the detail clumping together all ugly-like :<
A veeeeeeery long time ago I did this one group picture (
Liminality, for those who have been watching my gallery long enough to remember it) of most of the lead characters from a manuscript that is now known as
Kelkolan. Said group picture was horrid (in my eyes, at least haha), and I eventually stored it where no one could ever see it again.
Recently, I thought it might be good to
redo that group pic, but instead of just having the 'good' characters, I thought it might be a roight laff to see if I had the patience to do all of the characters that had an important impact on the storyline.
So here we are!
Lesse now, top to bottom, left to right:
The Ferchuah, 'Cat', Anaubir, random vizrah & a dacrell wight, Kerarok, Halifax, Atelia, Zander (human and Drannian forms), Vexus, Ferellia, Ferdinand, Platen, Giodel, Baron Cole (human and were-wight forms), Anellius, Imlaire, Cotton, Oberon, Mardhul, Rioan, Andel & Obeli
There is probably so much wrong with this hahah XDD I've been working on it on-and-off for the past three weeks D:

Edit: Oh yeah! I forgot, I was going to point out a few things about the way some of the things are placed
The two circle windows are representative of the two Feian moons, hence why the top ring has a great deal of sky (blue moon), and the second ring is an actual... moon (yellow moon) XDD
All of the charatcers are placed in ways that reflect the way they affect the characters placed closest to them. There's muchy much more, but telling any more qould give away too much ;]
I was also once asked why there is always an aurora in my night pix. Without going into the long-and-boring, the source of ildarie power on Feia is a positive-negative force affected by the moons. They give off a residual trace that manifests as a perpetual aurora-like band above the atmosphere around the equator of the planet.tl;dr: Thar be symbolism rife yonder, yo.
