Four Gods of Sinnoh

For April Fools Day this year, four of us decided it would be funny to prank the Pokemon card collecting community by tricking them into thinking that they were getting an awesome set of promo cards to be released alongisde the 12th movie this year. Why cards? Why not! And as runs a (really quite awesome) Japanese TCG scans + TCG news site, [link] , we were already waiting for go-time

Arceus gets a prize for being too damn hard to draw. His anatomy is so bizzare and this was an ill-conceived angle XDD I like his head though.


Palkia's image is my favourite, even though Palkia itself isn't my favourite of these four Pokemon. I don't know why; I just really like it.


Dialga was done on the wire XD He's not exactly hard to draw, but he comes in close behind Arceus for frustration factor XD His adornments made this pose a pain to come up with.


And Giratina was the one that triggered the whole plot. I decided to speedpaint it while bored during Feb and it all snowballed from there. I've been hanging out to show this off for ages!
